Given : Sides of a triangle are 36 cm , 15 cm and 39 cm

To Find : Prove that triangle is a right angle triangle

Solution:

Pythagoras' theorem: square on the hypotenuse of a right-angled triangle is equal   to the sum of the squares of the other two perpendicular sides.

Converse of Pythagoras theorem :

If Square of largest side of triangle is equal   to the sum of the squares of the other two  sides then triangle is right angle

39 cm is largest side

39² = (40 - 1)² = 1600 + 1 - 80  = 1521

36² = (40 - 4)² = 1600 + 16 - 320  = 1296

15² = 225

1296 + 225  =  1521

Hence 39²  = 36²  + 15²

Square of largest side of triangle is equal   to the sum of the squares of the other two  sides then triangle is right angle

=> Triangle is Right angled triangle

Step-by-step explanation:

★Question ::-

The side of a triangle measure 15 cm, 36 cm and 39 cm form a right angle triangle.

★Given ::-

The side of a triangle measure 15 cm, 36 cm and 39 cm.

★To find ::-

Show that it is a right-angled triangle ?

★Solution ::-

The right angle triangle follow the Pythagorean triplet.

</p><p> \sf \: H^2=P^2+B^2H^2</p><p>  \\  \sf \red{ =P ^2 +B ^2}

Where, H is the hypotenuse the longest side

So, H=39 cm

P is the perpendicular

Let P=36 cm

B is the base

B = 15 cm

Substitute the values if they are equal then it form a right angle triangle.

39^2=36^2+15^239 ^2</p><p> \\ :\implies \bold \color{navy}36 ^2 +15^2

1521=1296+225

1521 = 1521

As LHS=RHS

The side of a triangle measure 15 cm, 36 cm and 39 cm form a right angle triangle.
