Explanation:

see... motion is divided on the basis of dimensions. For example, when the dimension is 1 dimensional. It can be represented by only the X graph. That means when the body is moving in a straight line, also called rectilinear motion. Eg. when an ant walks along a thin straight rope. When a body moves in a 2 dimensional space, that is on a flat surface, it is called a two dimensional motion. It requires a XY graph for its representation. Eg. when a person skates on an ice rink. And finally when the body moves in a 3 dimensional space, that is type of in a box and it doesn't matter if it isn't a box in the modern sense, it can be just a column of air or water, in which case the body is constantly changing its position through different coordinates of a XYZ graph, it can be called a 3 dimensional motion. Eg, the motion of a kite in a windy day, or a rabbit hopping around.
