Rainwaters turns to ground water in the crops so now a days we also know there is a lot of increase in use of chemical pesticides which are useful for killing pest but it also contaminates soil and sometimes even plant also so the water present in soil pollutes and hence by means of ground hand pump these water are dangerous for us. India have a great problem with sewage systems because of which the sewage water sometimes mixes with fresh water via rivers and biget size pipes. Slums mostly live in india by some side ofor river or lake so women does their daily chores like washing clothes, vessels  and bathing their children's so harmful effluent are released and one more point slums people usually throw garbage in there water sources which contaminates this sources    Sorry I don't have any points for landfills But it will help you
