Answer:

(a)3^4m-3÷3^3=3^6

3^4m-3=3^6÷3^3

3^4m-3=3^6-3

3^4m-3=3^3

Since bases are same,

4m-3=3

or,4m=6

Therefore,m=6÷4=1.5

Ans:-1.5

Answer:

a)Value of m=3

b)=Value of m=5

Step-by-step explanation:

a)=3^(4m-3)÷27=729(^ This sign denotes power)

=3^(4m-3)÷3^3=3^6

=3^(4m-3)=3^6×3^3(On transposing 3^3 on either side it multiplies)

Now, As we know that, when base is and power is different, then the power is added on one base

So, =3^(4m-3)=3^9

=3^(4m)=3^12(On transposing 3 to either sides it gets added)

=Now, as on both sides there is 3, so both would cancel each other and we get,

=4m=12

m=12/4=3

So, here value of m is 3.

b)=(5×17)^3=5^(m-2)×17(m-2)

=Now, as we know that, wherever powers are same and base are different, then we the bases are multiplied with single power.

So, =(5×17)^3=(5×17)^m-2

=Now, here also 5×17 is on both sides, so both would cancel each other.

=m-2=3

m=2+3

m=5

=Hence, here the value of m=5

Thank you.
