Given tanA = √3/2
= > sinA/cosA = √3/2
= > sinA = (√3/2) cosA
On squaring both sides, we get
= > sin^2A = 3/4 cos^2A
We know that sin^2A + cos^2A = 1
= > (3/4) cos^2A + cos^2A = 1
= > 7cos^2A = 4
= > cos^2A = 4/7
= > cosA = 2/√7.
Now,
SinA = √3/√7.
Therefore,
= > SinA + cosA
= > (√3/√7) + (2/√7)
= > √7(2 + √3)/7.
= > 1.141
Hope this helps!
