Answer:

In the given polynomial, a = 2, b= -5, c=-6

As we know that sum of zeroes is equal to -b/a,

Therefore, alpha+ beta= 5/2

and product of zeroes is equal to c/a

Therefore, (alpha)(beta) = -6/2 = -3

the zeroes of new polynomial are 5/2 and -3

sum of zeroes are 5/2 + (-3)= 5/2-3 =-1/2

Product of zeroes are (5/2)(-3) =-15/2

So, new polynomial can be x^2 + (sum of products)x - product of zeroes

x^2 + (-1/2)x - (-15/2)

x^2 -1/2x + 15/2 is the new polynomial..

I hope you get it right...All the best:)
