First take out R equivalent
1/R equivalent = 1/R + 1/R + 1/R
R equivalent = R/3
Now R/3, R and R have come into series connection so just add them.
R/3 + R + R = Total resistance
Total resistance = R/3 + 2R = 7R/3
Thanks.
Hope this helps you.
