we know the value of cosec=hypotenuse/opposite

take phytagoras and we get third side 2

now put the value in 1

2-(1/√5)^2-(2/√5)^2=1

In 2. 2+(1/1/√5)^2-(2/√5)^2/(1/√5)^2=-9/2.
