Given :-

  • If a ≡ b (mod n) and c > 0 then ca ≡ ?(mod n)

Solution :-

  • We know that, when one number is congruent to another number, if we multiply both the numbers by the same positive integer, the congruency will not change.
  • Likewise, here a ≡ b (mod n) and a is multiplied by c. So, if b is also multiplied by c, then the congruency will remain.

∴ ca ≡ cb (mod n)

Out of the given options, option (d) is correct
