i)The aim is to prove sunlight is necessary for photosynthesis.

ii)The black paper is clipped to the leaf to prevent the leaf from receiving sunlight.

iii)The part of the leaf covered in with the black paper is white and the other part is bluish black because the covered part didnt receive sunlight and thus couldn't produce starch but the other part of the leaf got sunlight and thus produced starch.(this is due to an iodine test done to test for starch)
