Answer:

(a) 2 m/s

(b) 8 m

(c) 8 m

Explanation:

(a) Total displacement = 14 - 2

                                            = 12 m

    Total time required = 6 s

Velocity = Total Displacement / Total Time

                  = 12 / 6

                  = 2 m/s

(b) Distance traveled for 1st 4 sec = 10 - 2

                                                        = 8 m

(b) Distance traveled for last 4 sec = 14 - 6

                                                         = 8 m

Hope this helps! :)

vanshking28: ok
AccioNerd: Or if another person also answers the question
vanshking28: In other question option was coming but not in this question
vanshking28: why we subtracted 6 in c part
AccioNerd: We need the displacement for last 4 seconds...so we find out the net displacement...i.e. displacement @t = 2 s and displacement @t = 6 s which is equal to 14 - 6 = 8 m
vanshking28: ok
vanshking28: thanks
