Let the cost of tiffin box be x

Given, cost of school bag is twice more than the cost of tiffin box = 2x

Given,cost of school bag is rs 80 more than twice the cost of tiffin box = 2x + 80

Givenz total cost = rs 260

A/q,

x + 2x + 80 = 260

3x + 80 = 260

3x = 260 - 80

3x = 180

x = \dfrac{180}{3}

x = 60

\therefore{} The cost of tiffin box => x => rs 60

\therefore{} Cost of school bag => 2x + 80 => 2 × 60 + 80 => rs 200

Let the cost of tiffin box = x

Then the cost of school bag is rs 80 more than twice the cost of tiffin box = 2x + 80

Total cost = Rs. 260

Now according to the Question:

x + 2x + 80 = 260

3x + 80 = 260

3x = 260 - 80

3x = 180

x = 180/3

x = 60

The cost of tiffin box = x =Rs 60

Cost of school bag =2x + 80
=2 × 60 + 80
=rs 200
