<b>Heya mate. (^_-). Well, I can't understand which "2" you want, so I am solving all for you. Solutions below.
====================================

(1) (i)

2x - 3 (4x + 1) = 7

=> 2x - 12x - 3 = 7

=> 2x - 12x = 7 + 3

=> -10x = 10

=> -x = 10/10

=> -x = 1

=> x = -1

(1) (ii)

15y - 2(4y - 1) = 2(3y - 1)

=> 15y - 8y + 2 = 6y - 2

=> 15y - 8y - 6y = -2 - 2

=> -y = -4

=> y = 4

(2)

Total number of children = 50
Also, each child got 12 sweets

So, total sweets

= number of children × number of sweets each got

= 50 × 12

= 600

Hence, total number is sweets distributed was 600.

Now, if 600 sweets were distributed among 40 children, each would have got

= total sweets/number of children

= 600/40

= 15

(3) (i)

1391 ÷ 1.3

= (1391 × 10) ÷ 13

= 107 × 10

= 1070

(3) (ii)

0.0024 ÷ 0.04

= (24 × 100) ÷ (4 × 10000)

= 2400 ÷ 40000

= 6/100

= 0.06
====================================

<marquee>Hence, answer of (1) (i) and (1) (ii) is -1 and 4 respectively.

<b>For (2), it is 15.</b>

And, for (3) (i) and (3) (ii), it is 1070 and 0.06 respectively.</marquee>
====================================

Thank you.. ;-)
