1.The British by following the policy of 'Free Trade' destroyed the Indian textile and handicraft industries.
2.Sir high rose laid siege to the fortress of jhansi in march 1858.but jhansi was captured by british with the help of traitors who opened the gate of fortress on the night of 4th April 1858.
