1. The street quarrel generally started with children. Last Sunday, few children were playing cricket on the street. John was batting. He was bowled out by Jack but he did not leave the bat. This lead to an exchange of jot words and the two boys came on blows. Their parents came out and they began to shout. An old man advised them and controlled the scene.

2. The Queen soon came to know by the magic mirror that Snowwhite is alive. She was very angry and said "she will surely die this time". She took an apple which was half-red and half-white. She put the poisoned pin into the red half. She filled a bag with other apples and and put the poisoned apple on top of them.

3. Every year 8th September is celebrated as World Literacy Day.
