Ans:- Given:-

ADC = 90°

AD is perpendicular bisector of BC. so, BD = DC = 1/2BC and ADC = ADB = 90°

AB = 10cm and BD = 6cm

Now, In right angled triangleABD

=> (AB)² = (AD)² + (BD)²(by Pythagoras theorem)

=> (10)² = (AD)² + (6)²

=> 100 = (AD)² + 36

=> (AD)² = 64

=> AD = √64 = ±8cm

side can't be negative so we take 8cm.

Now, In right angled triangle ADC we have,

AD = 8cm

BD = CD = 6cm

ADC = 90°

Now,

=> (AC)² = (AD)² + (CD)²(by Pythagoras theorem)

=> (AC)² = (8)² + (6)²

=> (AC)² = 64 + 36

=> AC = √100 = 10cm

=> BC = BD + CD

=> BC = 6+6

=> BC = 12cm

Now,

=> Perimeter of triangle ABC = AB + BC + CA

=> Perimeter = 10 + 12 + 10

=> 32cm

Now,

=> Area of triangle ABC = 1/2 × base × height

=> Area = 1/2 × 12 × 8

=> Area = 48cm²

here is your answer

hope it will help you
