  • (x +  \frac{1}{x} ) ^{2}  =  {x}^{2}  +  \frac{1}{ {x}^{2} }  + 1
  •  (x +  \frac{1}{x} )^{2}  = 63
  • x +  \frac{1}{x}  =  \sqrt{63}  =  \sqrt{7 \times 3 \times 3}
  •  = 3 \sqrt{7}
