Yes it is irrational as when we will subtract this equation it will give us the answer

-5+root 5

and according to it a rational number cannot have roots

Answer Number 15.

 \sqrt{242}  =  \sqrt{121 \times 2}  = 11 \sqrt{2 }

 \sqrt{50} =  \sqrt{5 \times 5 \times 2}  = 5 \sqrt{2}

 \sqrt{98}  =  \sqrt{7 \times 7 \times 2} = 7 \sqrt{2}

8 \sqrt{242}  + 3 \sqrt{98}  - 5 \sqrt{50}

 = 88 \sqrt{2}  + 21 \sqrt{2}  - 25 \sqrt{2}

 = 84 \sqrt{2}
