Let the length of the playground be x m and the breadth be y m.

From the first condition, x = 2y.

x - 2y = 0 ...(1)

The perimeter of a rectangular playground = 2(l + b)

From the second condition, 2(x + y) = 600 ...(2)

Adding equation (1) and (2),

3x = 600

x = 200

Substituting the value of x in equation (1),

200 - 2y = 0

2y = 200

y = 100

Ans. The length of the playground is 200 m and the breadth is 100 m.
