Answer:

Mensuration,

We have

Polygon ABCDE

Have to find the area of the polygon.

Here given that

AC = 60 m BG = 16 m

AF = 16 m

So FH will be (46 - 16) m = 30 m and HC will be (60-46) m = 14 m also,DH = 14 m

FE = 24 m

Now,

Area of the polygon = area of AABC + area of ACHD + area of AAFE + area of trapezium DEFH.

[(2 x 60 x 16) + (1/2 × 14 ×14) + (1/2 x 16 x 24) + (2x30x (24+14))] m²

(480 +98 + 192 + 570) m²

= 1340 m²

So the area of the polygon is 1340 m²

That's it

Hope it helped

Step-by-step explanation:

we know, area of triangle

½ × height × base

area of triangle ABC

Height = 16

base = 60

area = ½ × 16 × 60 8 × 60 420 cm²

area of triangle AFE

height = 24 cm

base = 16 cm

area = ½ × 24 × 16 24 × 8 192 cm²

area of quadrilateral, we can divide it in two shapes right triangle and square

area of right triangle ½ × height × base

½ × 14 × 16 14 × 8 112 cm²

and area of square a × a 14 × 14 196cm²

so are of quadrilateral FHDE 112 + 196 308 cm²

area of DHC

height = 14

base = 60 - 46 = 14

area = ½ × 14 × 14 196/2 = 98 cm²

So area of polygon will be

ABC + AFE + FHDE + DHC

420 + 192 + 308 + 98

1018 cm²

therefore, required area of given polynomial is 1018cm².

hope this answer helps you dear...!
