The class width is the difference between the upper or lower class limits of consecutive classes. All classes should have the same class width.

The number in the middle of the class.

The lower class limit of a class is the smallest data value that can go into the class. The upper class limit of a class is the largest data value that can go into the class. Class limits have the same accuracy as the data values; the same number of decimal places as the data values. Class boundaries.

Class Interval. One of the ranges into which data in a frequency distribution table (or histogram) are binned.

A frequency is the number of times a data value occurs.

The lower limit for every class is the smallest value in that class.

In statistics, the range of a set of data is the difference between the largest and smallest values.
