In humans, the female reproductive system consists of:

Two ovaries – organs which produce ova

Two fallopian tubes – tubes which connect the ovaries to the uterus and allow the movement of ova from the ovaries to the uterus

Uterus – site implantation of embryo

Cervix – narrow opening at the base of the uterus

Vaginal canal – site of semen deposition
