I hope you all are doing good. No, the question pattern will not be changed only the ICSE syllabus is reduced. Also, for further clarification visit the CISCE website once. The reduction in the syllabus will make the students happy for sure. I heard some of the easy chapters are reduced in many subjects. In the long run, students won't get benefit from this reduced syllabus.
This is because most of the basics in higher studies come from class 10- class 12 be it is any board. Especially with ISC and ICSE, the syllabus is advanced compared to other boards. So, it might be useful for the students to learn everything not from the exam point of view but for their higher education. I would recommend using Oswaal books to learn all the concepts thoughtfully.
