please give me the important question of linear equation and ratio and proportion of 7th preasent ages of Mohit and Mayank are in the ratio 11 ratio 8 .
after 8 years the ratio of their ages will be 5 ratio 4 find the present ages

let Mohit's age=11A,

Mayank's age=8A,


now according to the question, we have


(11A+8)/(8A+8) = 5/4,


then

4(11A+8)=5(8A+8),


44A+32=40A+40,

44A-40A=40-32,

4A=8,

then

A=2,

therefore

Mohit's present age=11×2=22 yrs,


Mayank's present age=8×2=16 yrs

and of Mayank 8x year
after 8 years
Mohit's age =11x+8
Mayank's age=8x+4
