Given :

  • Velocity of a car started from rest reaches 40 m/s in 10 seconds .

To Find :

  • initial velocity of the car
  • Acceleration of the car

Solution :

  • Initial Velocity = 0m/s
  • ❥ Final Velocity = 40 m/s
  • ❥ Time Taken = 10seconds

now,

According to Question

Using 1st Equation :

 \\ { \underline{ \boxed{ \bf{ \purple{v = u + at}}}}} \: \: \bigstar \\ \\

Putting Values :

:\implies\sf{40=0+a(10)}\\ \\

:\implies\sf{40=0+10a}\\ \\

:\implies\sf{40=10a}\\ \\

:\implies\sf{a=\cancel\dfrac{40}{10}}\\ \\

:\implies\sf{a=4\:{m/s}^{2}}\\ \\

So , The Acceleration of the car is 4 m/s² .

★ Given:-

‏‏‎ ‎

  • ➺ Time = 10 s

‏‏‎ ‎

  • ➺ Velocity = 40m/s

‏‏‎ ‎

  • ➺ Initial velocity = 0 m/s

‏‏‎ ‎

To find:-

‏‏‎ ‎

  • ➺ Initial Velocity

‏‏‎ ‎

  • ➺ Acceleration

‏‏‎ ‎

Calculations:-

‏‏‎ ‎

The acceleration of the car:

‏‏‎ ‎

  • ➺ v = u + at

‏‏‎ ‎

  • ➺ 40 = 0 + a × 10

‏‏‎ ‎

  • ➺ 40 = 10 × a

‏‏‎ ‎

  • ➺ 40/10 = a

‏‏‎ ‎

  • ➺ 4/1 = a

‏‏‎ ‎

  • ➺ 4 m/s² = a

‏‏‎ ‎

. ° . The acceleration of the car is 4 m/s².

. ° . The initial Velocity is 0 m/s
