Ans 1: Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh, have bicameral Legislatures, rest all has Unicameral Legislatures.

Ans 2: Legislative Council shall consist of not less than 40 members or maximum one-third of the total number of members in the legislative assembly, chosen in the manner provided in this section. 30 members shall be elected by the members of the Legislative Assembly.

Ans 3: The Governor shall not be a member of the Legislature or Parliament, shall not hold any office of profit, and shall be entitled to emoluments and allowances. (Article 158 of Indian constitution). The Legislative Assembly consists of not more than 500 members and not fewer than 60.

Ans 4: The most important function of the Legislative Assembly is to act as the highest law making organ of the state.
