Galvanisation:
Galvanisation is the process by which zinc is coated over corrosive (easily rusted) metals. Galvanizing involves coating corrosive metals, such as steel and iron, with a non-corrosive metal.
Advantages of Galvanisation:
1. Prevents metal from corrosion.
2. Zinc Galvanised metals are protected from atmosphere even if we break the zinc layer as it is a higher reactive metal.
3. Long lasting than painting, greasing.
4. Economical.
5. Provides Greatest resistance than other means.
