if velocity is increasing then it is called as acceleration...So acceleration is 9.8 m/s^{2}

after 10 seconds  we need to find the velocity...

using the kinematic equation...

v = u +at

v = we need to find..

u = 0 as it was freely falling...

a = change or increase in velocity = acceleration = 9.8

t = 10 s.

v = 0 + (9.8)(10)

v = 98 m/s,,

hope it is clear..please mark as brainliest...

We know that

Velocity = acceleration × time

Since the object is falling the acceleration will be acceleration due to gravity denoted by g.

Velocity=g×time

Velocity = 9.8×10

Velocity = 98m/s

Thank you I hope that this answer helps you
