Palampur is a hypothetical village it is just like a city it has 90 family of upper caste and there are 450 families belong to Palampur It has good roads and its scientific way of farming it is also a government hospital

Palampur is a small village in UP. Farming is the main production activity in the village. In the past years, there had been many changes in the way of farming by the people. This allowed the farmers to increase the yield of crops from the same land. The new ways of farming need less land, but more capital. The medium and large farmers are able to use their own savings from the production but it was difficult for the small farmers to do so . So, they had to take debt and work as labourers in the fields to overcome the debt. The use of labourers was less and the work was done by machines. The labour had to look for work in the neighbouring villages. Some labourers entered the non- farm sector in the village. In future, one would like to set up non farm production activities in the village as non farm activities have many benefits.
