 \tt{     Question}

In a cricket match a batsman hits a boundary 6 times out of 90 balls he plays. Find the probability that he hits a boundary.

 \tt{Answer}

 \bf{ \green{given}} :   \tt{total \: number \: of \: balls \: played} =  90

 \tt \: number \: of \: times \: ball \: hits \: boundry = 6

 \bf \orange{to \: find} :  \tt \: to \: find \: the \: probability \: that \: he \: hits \: a \: boundry

Number of balls the batsman didn't hit the boundary = 90-6 = 84

 \tt \: p(batsman \: \: does \: not \: hit \: a \: boundry) =  \frac{no.of \: did \: ot \: hit}{total \: no.of \: balls \: played}

 \tt \: p( \: does \: not \: hit \: a \: boundry) =   \cancel\frac{24}{30}  =  \frac{4}{5}
