Area of rectangle = L*B

= 10*8= 80 sq cm

perimeter of rectangle=2(L+B)

2(10+8) = 36 cm.

Now , Let there be another rectangle whose length is 20 cm and breadth is 4 cm

Area = 20*4 = 80 sq cm

perimeter =2(20 + 4 ) = 48 cm

in this example area does not increases  when perimeter increases.
