According to laws of exponent a^m x a^n... = a^ (m+n....)

^ =raised to power

So in the numerator you have a= 2 , m=5 , n = -13

So the term in numerator will be equal to 2^(-8)

Similarly in the denominator ,you have only 2^(7)

now according to laws of exponents you have a^(-m) = 1/ a^m

So the equation will turn into 1/2^7 x 1/2^8

Which is equal to 1 / (2^7)(2^8)

Now apply the law a^m x a^n…. = a^ (m+n.....)
In the denominator of the equation

You will have the simplified equation to 1/2^15

Which is also equal to 2^(-15)

This was the answer to first question

Similarly in the second question just apply the same law i.e a^m x a^n ....= a^ (m+n...)

you will have the answer equal to 7^1

Which is equal to 7 ..
