∴x+2=8

x+y=18

6+y=18             (∵x=6cm)

y=12cm

(b) similarly,

y+5=18

y=13cm

x+y=16

x+13=16

x=3cm

(c) opposite sides are equal

13=2y-3

2y=16

y=8cm

x+2=17

x=15cm

(d) x+3=22

x=19cm

y-3=11

y=14cm
