yes a fish cannot survive if taken out of water because water has dissolved Oxygen and the outer nature doesn't have dissolved Oxygen and even because the PH in the water is maximum and the fish are used to their PH and if you are taken out there won't be able to survive

yes gaseous substances can be compressed easily because they have a very large intermolecular spaces and negligible inter molecular forces

1.Primarly because they have evolved breathing structures called gills instead of lungs .Lungs respire air.....In Short Fish have evolved and adapted to live in water to such an extent that they are unable to survive for very long when removed from it.

2.The atoms and molecules in gases are much be more spread out than in solids or liquids. They vibrate and move freely at high speeds. A gas will fill any container , but if the container is not sealed, the gas will escape. Gas can be compressed much more easiluly than a liquid or solids.
