Answer:

180-(50+45)=85 , its simple the answer can be derived if u know that the sum of all angles of a triangles is 180°.

angleBAE=EDC=45[interior alternate angles]

Now

in ∆ECD

anglesECD+EDC+DEC=180

or 50+45+x=180

or x=180-95

or x=85°
