pOH = -log(OH- ions)
=>pOH = -log(2 × 5 × 10^-6)
This is because after dissociation of Ba(OH)2, we'll get 2 times the concentration of Ba(OH)2 in OH- ions. Therefore,
=>pOH = 5
Now, pOH + pH = 14 (look it up), therefore
pH = 14 - 5, ie, 9, thus,
pH = 9
