Answer:

A globe is a three-dimensional sphere while a map is two-dimensional. The globe represents the whole earth, whereas a map may represent the whole earth or just a part of it. A globe can be used to get a broad-level picture of the world while maps provide more specific information about different places.

Large scale maps are typically used to show site plans, local areas, neighborhoods, towns etc. 1:2,500 is an example of a large scale. A 'small' scale map is one in which a given part of the Earth is represented by a small area on the map.

Physical map-These are maps which show the natural features on earth surface ,like mountains, plateaus, plains, rivers and so on. ... Thematic maps-Maps can also show types of soils, forest areas, the distribution of minerals and industries, and so in an area.

Map distance is the one on the map suppose the distance between Delhi and Agra is 10cm on a map and the Ground distance between Delhi Agra is 180 cm on ground.
