Answer:

1. 3ohm and 6ohm in parallel and 2ohm in series

2. 2,3,6 ohms in parallel

3. 2 ohm and 6 ohm in parallel and 3 ohm in series

Explanation:

1. On connecting 3 and 6 ohm in parallel

1/R1=1/3+1/6

1/R1=2+1/6 ; LCM of 3 and 6 is 6

1/R1=1/2

R1=2 ohm

And 2 ohm(given) is in series

Therefore total will be 2+2=4 ohm

Which is the required answer

2.On connecting 2, 3 and 6 ohm in parallel

1/R=1/3+1/6+1/2

1/R=2+1+3/6 ; LCM of 2, 3 and 6 is 6

1/R=6/6

R=1 ohm

Which is the required answer

3. On connecting 2 and 6 ohm in parallel

1/R1=1/2+1/6

1/R1=3+1/6 ; LCM of 3 and 6 is 6

1/R1=4/6

R1=6/4=1.5 ohm

And 3 ohm is in series

Therefore total will be 3+1.5=4.5 ohm

Which is the required answer
