The formula for time period -

T = 2π√L/g = 2π (L/g)^1/2

Here 2,π,g have no dimensions. So we can eliminate them.

Now ∆T/T = 1/2 x ∆L/L

By representing in percentage error

∆T/T x 100 = 1/2 x ∆L/L x 100

∆T/T % = 1/2 x 1 %

∆T/T % = 0.5%

therefore, If length of pendulum is increased by 1% then time period will increase by 0.5%

Hope this helps you.
