In a move to regulate traffic congestion, Coimbatore traffic police are all set to install six more traffic signals in the city- Sathyamangalam road -Thudiyalur Road junction, Sathyamangalam Road - Kalapatti Road junction, Trichy Road -SIHS Colony junction, Trichy Road - Perks school junction, Trichy Road -Sowripalayam Road junction and Avinashi road - Codissia junction. The city has 57 traffic signals and steps will be taken to fix the defunct 23 signals as well.
