(x)⁴+2x³y-2xy³-(y)⁴

=(x²)²-(y²)²+2x³y-2xy³

=(x²+y²)(x²-y²)+2xy(x²-y²)

=(x²+y²+2xy)(x²-y²)

=(x+y)²(x-y)(x+y)

=(x+y)(x+y)(x+y)(x-y)

=(x-y)(x+y)³

Hope it helps

alokkumar88: it is wrong the answer is (x-y)2(2x+3y)

The given expression can be written as,

x⁴-y⁴+2x³y-2xy³

=(x²)² - (y²)² + 2xy(x²- y²)

=(x²-y²)(x²+y²) + (2xy)(x²-y²)

=(x²-y²)(x²+y²+2xy) ...

.....(a+b)²=a²+b²+2ab....and...a²-b²=(a+b)(a-b)

Using the above identities..

=(x+y)(x-y)(x+y)(x+y)

Hope it helps!!!
