Step-by-step explanation:

angle A= angle B

so AC=BC

AD=BE

AB-AD=BC-BE

CD=CE

in triangle (ABC) and triangle (DEC)

angle C= angle C [ common angle]

AC/CD=BC/EC

triangle (ABC) similar to triangle (DEC)

angle A = angle D   {if corresponding angle are equal then the line parallel }

therefore BC parallel to DE.

Answer:

Since,

<A = <B

AD = BE

So,

DC = EC ( sides opposite to equal angles)

ie, AC = BC

So,

DE || AB { Basic Proportionality Theorm (BPT) }
