Area of parallogram = base * height

AB and BC are bases and AL and AM are both heights of same parallelogram
So,

AB * AL = BC * AM
18 * 6.4 = 12 * AM
18 * 6.4 / 12 = AM
AM = 9.6 cm

Ans. AM is 9.6 cm
