however the materials made of plastic must be removed from the idol

On the other hand During the festival loads of idols are prepared which actually intensifies this problem however all it needs is a proper way of management

Even though if it is made of plaster of Paris it isn't very harm full to the nature as POP is the hydrated form of gypsum (a natural rock)

btw the chemical formula of POP is

CaSO4•2H2O

amd that of Gypsum is CaSO4•1/2H2O
