(a) The Arctic Ocean receives a large amount of fresh water from river runoff relative to its area, compared to other oceans. There are five major rivers that flow into the Arctic, the Mackenzie and Yukon in North America, and the three largest in Asia, the Ob, Yenisey and Lena Rivers.

The Pacific Ocean watershed drains Canada west of the Rocky Mountains. Three major rivers flow into the Pacific along the length of this watershed: the Fraser, the Columbia and the Yukon.

(b). Amu Darya and Syr Darya are the two rivers that drain into Aral Sea.

The river drains the combined waters of the Euphrates and Tigris Rivers of Iraq and the Karun River of Iran. Though other rivers empty into thePersian Gulf , most of the fresh water that enters the gulf comes from the Shatt al Arab.
