And the question is-
In May 1954, Roger Banister became the first person to run a mile in less than four minutes.
He ran the four laps of the race in 57.5,60.7,62.3 and 58.9 seconds.
(a) What was his total time ?
(b) By how much did he break the four-minute barrier ? ​
