Step-by-step explanation:

we can solve this by bodmas

listen first you should remove brackets

then the sum becomes

 (\frac{2}{5}  +  \frac{1}{7} ) \div ( \frac{1}{5}   -  \frac{1}{8} ) -  \frac{5}{21}

taking \ \:  \:  \: lcm

 (\frac{19}{35}   \div   \frac{3}{40} ) -  \frac{5}{21}

  = \frac{ \frac{19}{35} }{ \frac{3}{40} }  -  \frac{5}{21}

 =  (\frac{19}{35}  \times  \frac{40}{3} ) -  \frac{5}{21}

 = ( \frac{152}{21}  -   \frac{5}{21})

 =   \frac{147}{21}

 = 7
