\underline{Given:}

AD = AB..................(i)

AD perpendicular to AB
i.e.
Angle OAD = 90°

BC perpendicular to AB
i.e.
Angle OBC = 90°

\underline{To\:Prove:}

CD bisects AB
i.e.
OA=OB

\underline{Proof}

Since,

Line CD & AB intersect

∠AOD = ∠BOC
(Vertically Opposite Angles).................(ii)

In △BOC and △AOD

∠BOC = ∠AOD ( from ii)
∠CBO = ∠DAO ( Both angles are 90°)
BC = AD ( from i)

Therefore,
△BOC ≡△AOD (AAS)

Therefore,
BO = AO (CPCT)

Hence.... Proved.
