according to factor theorm , you have to put the factorial. i.e if it is x-1=0
x=1
then put the value in the given expression,
x^3+8x^2-7x-2
=1+8×1-7-2
=9-7-2
=9-9
=0
hence proved
x=1
then put the value in the given expression,
x^3+8x^2-7x-2
=1+8×1-7-2
=9-7-2
=9-9
=0
