Area of shaded region = area of rectangle - area of 4 quadrants (sectors)

Arra of rectangle = 12 x 16 = 192 cm²

Area of 1 quadrant
π r² angle ÷ 360

R = 7 cm
angle = 90 degree

22/7 x 7² x 90 ÷ 360

3.14 x 49 ÷ 4
= 154/4 = 38.5 cm²

Arra of 4 quadrants = 38.5 x 4 = 154 cm²

so, 192 - 154
= 38 cm²

Hii frnd.
Area of 4 quadrant = 4×1/4πr²
-> πr²
-> 22/7×7/2×7/2
->77/2cm²
Area of square = (side)²
16×16
256cm²
Area of unshaded = 256-77/2
= 512-77/2
= 435/2cm²
